Does that make any sense in the context of where it is located in the bathroom? Could have been a holder for a hand towel as well. I remember seeing these in houses from the 60’s and 70’s.”

“It’s called a ’speakeasy’ and it’s for talking to someone without having to open the door.” 3rdCoastTxn from Reddit replied to the question: “What is the purpose of this little door in the door?”

Creepy!

“What is this? Was doing some filling in the yard and found this. Wife says it’s a gravestone. I think it’s a survey marker.” According to kludge6730 from the Reddit thread:

“That’s a grave marker. Not sure what the police might do unless you think there’s a grave on your property that you’ve uncovered. Worth a shot. Alternately perhaps an office of public health might be able to figure it out. In any case, it would be nice to ensure that a grave wasn’t dug up by a developer and the remains and someone just dumped as fill.”

Found after an event in our facility, it has no power, no plugs, just these arrows on the top of it.” Reddit user excalibur_301 seemed to have the answer to this one: “This is a cigar humidifier. You either put it in water or put moisturizer onto the arrows to fill it up, then place it in your cigar storage box to keep them humidified.”

“Just bought a house, found this hidden inside the front bushes. Screws in a wooden ball, looks like a mace. What was/is this used for?”User HanakenVulpine  said:”There is/was a trend of making DIY Allium flowers out of recycled metal and other scrap.“
