NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Country star Luke Bryan came to the aid of a Middle Tennessee mom stranded with a flat tire on a curve in a small town.
You never know who you’re going to run into into around Nashville. For Courtney Potts – it was one of the biggest country stars of today and he couldn’t have come at a better time.
Potts wrote on Instagram Monday that her tire blew out while negotiating a curve in Maury County. And who came to her rescue but Luke Bryan himself, who happens to own property in the area.
“I cannot thank you enough for helping me and my kids! It really made our day so much better!”
Video shows Bryan working a tire iron to get Potts’ vehicle all fixed up and ready to go.
The act of kindness is garnering a lot of praise on social media. One person commented, “This is why he is a legend even with all that fame and money and he still is a great person absolutely love it man.”
Mayor of Columbia Chaz Molder later sent a tweet to Bryan, saying ,”We are grateful for your act of kindness in our community. To show our appreciation, we would like to honor you by presenting you a key to the city and having you serve as the Grand Marshall of the @ColumbiaTNUSA Christmas Parade alongside Santa. You in?”
